Techtextil North America 2016

Techtextil North America 2016 was held in Atlanta from May 3th 2016 to May 5th 2016. At Techtextil North America various aspects of technical textiles were available under one roof. It comprised of all the pillars involved in life cycle of technical textiles, from research and development, through raw materials and production processes until product development and recycling. The exposure we received by interacting with various industires and their representatives helped in understanding the latest trends in nonwovens and technical textiles and what do industries seek from us as being a research group. Three students from BMT group (Xiaoqi Tang, Haripriya Ramesh and Radhika Vaid) gave poster presentations which were well appreciated in the forum of graduate student poster presentations.
