Dr. King Inaugurates BMT Lab

Dr. King inaugurated the first of its kind Bio-Medical Textiles Laboratory at the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University.

This is a very promising area that aims to bridge the fields of material science (polymers, fibers and textiles) and medical science. The goal of BMT Research Group is to study the latest polymers, fibers and textile structures in order to design advanced products for applications outside as well as inside the human body.
