Congratulations, Dr. Cook!

We are excited to announce that Taylor ‘Suh Hee’ Cook has just leveled up to Doctor – she’s officially Dr. Cook now!

Her dissertation, with a title longer than a CVS receipt, “In Vitro Stimulation-Conduction Platforms to Mature Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Cardiomyocytes for Cardiac Tissue Engineering,” was a smashing success under the fabulous Dr. Jessica Gluck. Dr. Cook’s research is heart-thumpingly amazing! She’s been busy cooking up new ways to mature stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes—basically making heart cells grow up big and strong, ready to save lives and impress at dinner parties.

And now, she’s off to the University of Maryland College Park to join the Fischell Department of Bioengineering as a postdoctoral associate. She’s also snagged a fancy T32 postdoctoral fellowship!

We can’t wait to see Dr. Cook continue to rock the world of bioengineering. Way to go, Suh Hee, aka Dr. Cook!
