02.02.2012 BMT Lab participated in the Wilson College of Textiles Open House. Number of high school students and their parents visited BMT lab and they were quite impressed by the cutting-edge research work being done in this field.
10.10.2011 NCSU Chancellor Randy Woodson visited the BMT lab at the Wilson College of Textiles. He was mesmerized by the novel textile structures for various implantable medical devices.
10.10.2012 Dr. Vasudevan, Director of South India Textile Research Association (SITRA) – the center of Excellence for Biomedical Textiles in India, visits BMT Lab facilities.
10.10.2001 Dr. King inaugurated the first of its kind Bio-Medical Textiles Laboratory at the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University.
