Congratulations, Dr. Daxian Zha!

Sound the trumpets and release the confetti cannons! Our beloved Daxian (Ada) Zha has ascended to the ranks of the doctorate elite as of February 7, 2024, with her epic dissertation, “Design of Collagen and Tropoelastin Functionalized Three-dimensional Electrospun Scaffolds for Co-culture of Skin Cells for Dermal Tissue Engineering.” It’s the gold standard of skin cell co-culture, setting a new benchmark in the field!

Dr. Zha’s brilliant journey has now led her to the sunny shores of Los Angeles, where she’s joined the ranks of the geniuses at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a Postdoctoral Scientist. Our lab would never have been the same without her infectious enthusiasm and incredible insight.

We celebrated her farewell on June 10, 2024, with tears, cheers, and a party to remember. So, let’s all raise a test tube (or two) to Dr. Daxian (Ada) Zha. Congratulations, Dr. Zha – keep shining bright in LA!
